How do I know how many boxes I
will need for my move?
The best way to determine this is by scheduling a FREE in home estimate and
asking us then. Once we see what you actually have we can give you a good idea
as to what packing materials you will need.
How do I access my belongings
when they are in storage?
If there is a need to get to some of your belongings before your storage
period is over, you may contact us at least a week in advance and we will set up
a time to meet and open your container(s) to get your belongings. Please be
aware that there is a warehouse labor charge for this.
How do I report a claim?
If your job is in progress and you notice that an item we moved is damaged,
please speak with the person in charge at the job site. If the
job has been completed and you find damage to an item we moved, you can report a claim
by contacting Dave Anton, Owner and Operator of Vanguard, by
clicking here.
You may purchase professional quality moving boxes of many sizes, padding
(wrapping paper), shrink wrap, and tape through Vanguard by
contacting us directly. We do not
currently have an online store.
Depending on your request, there may be a specific person who is better
suited to answer you question. You can be sure that if your inquiry does not go
to the correct person, they will forward it on.

The best method for contacting us is email and then fax. Provided you are
very thorough with all the details of your move, this is the best way to keep
all of your information organized, accurate, and complete. Many times it is
difficult for us to answer the phone and voice messages are often difficult
to understand or do not contain enough information. You can find a list of the

You can contact us using
any method,
any time. We recommend email or the
online quote request form. If you decide to contact us by phone,
the best times are
first thing in the morning (8:00 AM EST) or late in the afternoon. Please know
that there is a good chance you will have to leave a message, but rest assured, we will respond as soon
as possible, usually within 48 hours. Please leave as much information as
