NOTE: In person estimates are recommended because they are much more accurate.

LOCAL MOVES

Local moving services include packing (optional), loading and unloading, and storage, if needed, for every size home or office. Vanguard is here to meet your requirements. We adjust the type of vehicle and number of employees on each job to meet your needs and budget.

Vanguard prides itself on making your move as easy and stress free as possible. For a FREE estimate call, fax, or email us as soon as possible. We can do an over the phone or in person (at the location of the move) estimate. You can also submit a FREE quote request using our online form.

NOTE: In person estimates are recommended over phone estimates because they are much more accurate and therefore avoid confusion later in the moving process.

LONG DISTANCE MOVES

Vanguard Moving and Storage is an Agent for National Van Lines for Interstate Relocations. If you require a long distance move, we work hand in hand with National Van Lines to get you where you need to go. You can still contact us directly to get a FREE estimate and plan your move. You can leave all the coordinating up to us.

PACKING

You may purchase professional quality moving boxes and any other packing materials through Vanguard, or we can come to your home before the move and pack your entire house for you. If you don't have the time to pack before your move or you don't trust your packing abilities, leave it to Vanguard.

Our packing services include any items you may have in your house that should be put in a box or other packing container. We wrap all china and all other fragile items safely in packing paper (see picture to right). If you choose to pack yourself, rest assured we will shrink wrap and pad all furniture and other unprotected items as part of our standard move.

CONTAINERIZED STORAGE

We have 2 storage locations: Norwalk, CT & Bethel, CT

We can store a few items or your whole house. Storage is on a monthly basis and is less costly than self storage units. In addition, your items are loaded in and out of the storage facility by Vanguard employees. Your belongings are secure in our facility.
